Referendum on the adoption of the Barkway and Nuthampstead Neighbourhood Plan

1. A referendum will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025 to decide on the question below:
‘Do you want North Hertfordshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for
Barkway and Nuthampstead to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood
area?
2, Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight
on Friday 11 April 2025.

3. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral
Registration Officer at North Hertfordshire District Council, Council Offices, Gernon Road,
Letchworth Garden City, SG6 3JF by 5pm on Monday 14 April 2025.

4. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for
this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 23 April

5. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
North Hertfordshire District Council, Council Offices, Gernon Road, Letchworth Garden
City, SG6 3JF by 5pm on Wednesday 23 April 2025.

7. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral
Registration Officer at the North Hertfordshire District Council, Council Offices, Gernon
