Barkway Preschool is run by caring, qualified staff along with a management committee. At Barkway Preschool the focus is very much on providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment where children can learn through play.
The classroom and spacious outside area provides a spacious setting with plenty of room for energetic two to five year olds to explore and play, inside and outside in our lovely garden. The children have opportunities to grow physically and emotionally, to develop their communication and language skills and to increase their self-confidence and self-awareness. When they are ready, more adult lead activities help to prepare them for the more formal setting of nursery or school. The staff and children are always very happy to welcome visitors so please drop by to join in the fun!

Barkway Toddler Group
Our Wednesday morning Toddler Group takes places every week 9.30-11.30am at Barkway Village Hall. There are lots of toys and we have singing and a story at the end of the session. If you have a child from 0-4 years old, pop along and join us for a play and to chat to other parents / grandparents / carers / childminders / nannies over tea and coffee. Drink and snack provided for the children. £ 3.00 per child over 6 months, £1.00 per child 0-6 months, £ 1.00 per additional sibling.
