It is Barkway’s big day and typically attracts around 4\,000 visitors from miles around. \nWe have many varied and wondrous stall holders booked who will be selling unique items ranging from antiques to bric-a-brac\, artisan food & drink to homewares\, garden wares to plants\, clothing to jewellery\, curiosities and more besides within the grounds Manor Farm\, one of Barkway’s attractive old houses\, as well as a craft fair in the Church. \nOur market is a quintessential English day out with a strong community spirit and we welcome you to join in. DESCRIPTION:Ford RideLondon Classique Stage One\, Saffron Walden to Colchester\n\nThe Ford RideLondon Classique is a professional women’s road race featuring the best riders in the world. Saffron Walden and Colchester are the start and finish venues for this stage for the second year in a row. \nKey information \n\nBarley: Chishill Road\, Church End\, B1368 (London Road) will be closed to through traffic from approx. 10:30 to 12:oo\nBarkway: B1368 Cambridge Road (High Street) closed from Royston Road to The Buckland Road from approx. 11:00 to 12:00.\nBarkway:  The Buckland Road  to the A10 from Approx. . 11:00 to 12:00.\n\nThese will be temporary road closures which will be enforced. This means\, roads are closed just ahead of the first rider’s arrival and just after the last rider passes through. There is a possibility that any vehicles parked on these roads will be towed.
